FAMILY ENGAGEMENT & SUPPORT OFFICER GRADE F SCP 17 - 23 (£31,022 - £34,434) ACTUAL SALARY £26,296.45 - £29,188.71 37 HOURS PER WEEK TERM TIME PLUS 3 DAYS FIXED TERM CONTRACT 1 YEAR REQUIRED 1ST SEPTEMBER 2026 We are a 3-16 all age fully inclusive Academy. WE ARE SEEKING A PASSIONATE CANDIDATE WHO: Passionate about improvising outcomes for children, young people and families Able to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, parents/carers and professionals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience supporting vulnerable families and pupils with social, emotional or behavioural needs Strong understanding of safeguarding Empathetic, resilient and able to manage sensitive situations professionally Organised and able to prioritise a varied workload effectively Able to work independently and as part of a pastoral/safeguarding team Committed to inclusion, equality and parental engagement Proactive, flexible and solution-focused approach to supporting families YOUR MAIN DUTIES WOULD BE: To provide a professional level of support to parents/carers and school staff, providing a core offer of services for pupil and their families where pupils present with challenges and barriers to learning.
