Job description

Family Services Coordinator We are looking to appoint a compassionate and proactive Family Services Coordinator and Extended Services Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference by supporting pupils and their families through early help, engagement, and access to wider services. This post will be term time only - 36 hour per week + 5 days inset - 39 working weeks 4 Days working at Grand Union Village School + 1 day working for the Central team. Hours of work Mon- 8:30-4:15 Tues- 8:30-4:15 Wed- 8:30 - 4:30 Thurs- 8.30 - 4.15 - Central Team Fri- 8:30 - 3:45 The actual Salary Scale 5, point 12 £ 28,072.23 To Scale 5, Point 15 £29.325.07 The successful candidate will deliver workshops and training for families, provide effective signposting to appropriate support services, and work collaboratively with families to build confidence, resilience, and positive outcomes. You will play an important part in strengthening relationships between school and home, promoting inclusion, and ensuring families feel supported and empowered within the community. The role also involves working with internal staff and external agencies to provide a holistic and coordinated approach to family Experience of living or working with children and young adults with learning difficulties is desirable and some experience of working with families, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is essential.
