Tel: 01603 429001 Email: head@sprowstoninfant.norfolk.sch.uk Headteacher: Robert Edwards Age range: 4-7 years Salary – Scale D, £13.47-£13.68/hr (TA) and Scale A, £12.85/hr (MSA) Permanent Part Time 30 hours per week TA – 27.5 hours per week, Tern Time plus 1 week MSA – 2.5 hours per week, Term Time only Required for September 2026 We are looking to increase our EYFS staff team from September. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic TA who has experience in EYFS and/or KS1, this is essential. The role will be working in our well-resourced EYFS provision and the successful candidate will have the ability to assess children’s learning and development as well as planning for their next steps. Working hours, 8.40am – 12noon and 1pm- 3.10pm + 30 mins MSA, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have: Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification Previous experience of working with EYFS/KS1 children in a school setting Excellent communication skills The ability to work under the direction of the teacher, but is able to use their own initiative to support learning The ability to establish a positive relationship with children, parents and staff A secure knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and KS1 curriculum We can offer: A child-centred approach Kind, confident and engaging children A fantastic learning environment A supportive team Opportunities for ongoing professional development For an informal discussion about the role, please email - deputyhead@sprowstoninfant.norfolk.sch.uk How to apply To download an application form, click on the ‘Apply for Job’ button. This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post.
