Head teacher: Mr M Gamble Salary: Scale D, £18,125 to £18,414 p/a pro-rata (£25,989 to £26,403 p/a FTE) Permanent Part time 30 hrs per week Term Time + 1 week We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 teaching assistant to support our EYFS and KS1 team within our school. The right candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum and have experience of supporting children’s learning within a nursery setting. This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list. If you have information to declare it may be protected under the Exceptions Orders and you may not be required to declare it. You will be asked to make a criminal conviction declaration if you are shortlisted for the post.
