Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We're looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join Lift St Helen's; part of Lift Schools, where every child receives an excellent education, in every classroom, every day. If you are driven by the belief that every child deserves high aspirations, targeted support, and a warm, inclusive environment, this is your opportunity to join a school community where your skills are valued, invested in, and celebrated.
In this HLTA role, you'll work closely with teachers across the school to support the delivery of an ambitious and engaging curriculum. Whether leading sessions, covering lessons, or guiding small groups, you'll help create a learning environment where every pupil feels safe, valued and inspired to achieve their best. Your work will play a vital part in giving children the confidence, skills and encouragement they need to thrive throughout their school journey.
About Lift St Helen's At Lift St Helen's, we believe that belonging is the heartbeat of a successful education. Our school is more than just a building in the heart of Monk Bretton; it is a vibrant, nurturing community where every child is known, valued, and celebrated for who they are. We strive to create a place where children feel safe to take risks, ask big questions, and grow into confident, compassionate citizens of the world. As part of Lift Schools, our mission is simple: we provide every child with an excellent education in every classroom, every day. We believe that education should be tailored to inspire curiosity and foster resilience. By providing a broad and ambitious curriculum, with a special focus on oracy and communication, we ensure our pupils have the tools they need to achieve great things. We are guided by our Lift maxims: excellence as habit, worldwise, individuals matter, culture, aim high, community and family, respect for diversity, and a passion for lifelong learning. These aren't just words on a wall; they are the principles that help us cultivate the citizens of tomorrow. In our classrooms, you will see children and adults actively engaged in learning, supporting one another with kindness and dedication. Who is Lift Schools? We're a diverse and inclusive network of schools with one clear mission; to provide an excellent education to every child - in every classroom, every day. And we do this across each of our 62 schools. As with our students, we want our team to be empowered to do their best work, supported by the best leadership they've ever had. We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional efforts of everyone here in making this an incredible organisation.
