Do all schools in Derby follow these dates?
These are the council's dates for community and voluntary-controlled schools. Academies, free schools, foundation, voluntary-aided and independent schools can set their own term dates, so always check with your child's school.
Are INSET days included?
Only where the council publishes them. Most INSET (training) days are chosen by each school, so they're usually not on the council calendar.
How do I add these dates to my calendar?
Use the 'Download calendar' button. It gives you an .ics file that works with Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook.
Where do these dates come from?
From the council's own website. We show the link and the date we last checked it. If the council changes its dates, its website is the authority.
