Applying for a job

Open a vacancy and use the apply panel. Some vacancies are applied for on the employer's own website — where that is the case we say so and send you straight to the original advert.

Applications you submit through SchoolJobs.uk appear in your applications page with the status the employer has recorded. Applications made on an employer's own site can only be kept as your own private records.

Check the closing date before you start, and keep your own copy of anything you write. If a vacancy has already closed we say so rather than letting you submit into a closed advert, and if an employer changes the status of your application you will see the change on your applications page. Nothing you write is shared with any other employer.
