About the role

Are you our next Headteacher?

As our much-loved Headteacher, Mrs Liley, prepares to retire at the end of the spring term, we are seeking a successor to lead Holy Trinity from the summer term, or earlier if possible.

Holy Trinity is a small school with big dreams: an inclusive, four-class church school in Tattershall, with strong community, Trust and Diocese links. Leading here offers the privilege of nurturing our Christian ethos and every child’s spiritual growth alongside academic achievement.

EYFS and phonics outcomes are strong, but Key Stage 2 outcomes must improve. We need a leader who shares our school and Trust values, with proven expertise in improving teaching and learning. The skills to raise KS2 achievement and sustain improvement are essential.

Are you looking for the opportunity to lead a nurturing school with a strong community spirit, ambitious aspirations, and the support of a collaborative Trust? Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School is a welcoming and caring small school where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to flourish. We are seeking an inspirational and dedicated Headteacher to build on our strengths and lead the next phase of our journey from April 2027. As Headteacher, you will provide strategic and operational leadership, working in partnership with staff, families, governors, and the Trust to ensure the highest standards of education and care. You will champion an inclusive culture, inspire excellent teaching and learning, and ensure that every child achieves their full potential. Our children benefit from a rich and engaging curriculum, enhanced by a well-established Forest School programme that promotes resilience, curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. As a school serving a significant RAF community, we are proud of the strong support we provide to service families and the welcoming environment we create for all pupils. As part of an ambitious and forward-thinking Trust, Holy Trinity benefits from established curriculum partnerships with schools across the Trust. This collaborative approach provides opportunities for shared expertise, professional development, curriculum innovation, and strong leadership support. We are looking for a leader with vision, integrity, and a passion for developing children academically, socially, and spiritually. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a friendly and ambitious Church school where strong community relationships, outdoor learning, and collaboration are at the heart of what we do.
