As a relief cleaner, you will be called upon to work on an "as-and-when-needed" basis to cover staff absences, holidays, or extra busy periods. This is a highly flexible role perfect for someone looking for occasional work. What You’ll Be Doing Working as part of a friendly team, you will keep classrooms, offices and washrooms fresh and tidy. Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins. Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies (soap, paper towels) fully stocked. Using cleaning equipment and products safely (we will teach you all the Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines). Carrying out occasional deep cleans during school holiday periods. Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure. What We Are Looking For: A reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in a job well done. Someone comfortable doing physical work (lifting, carrying and active movement). A great team player who can also work well independently and follow instructions. Someone committed to creating a safe environment for pupils and staff. Someone who requires flexible hours and is happy to be called upon for relief shift work as and when required. As we are looking for a number of people we will interview shortlisted candidates continually and as applications are received, so early applications are encouraged! Interviews will be virtual.
