Our Nursery Managers should have..
•
Two years of previous experience as a Nursery Manager (required).
•
Experience of large or multi-site nurseries (desirable).
•
Experience in retaining and hiring new team members.

Knowledge of local authority and regulatory requirements and inspection processes across the UK.

Some experience in managing budgets, including capacity and team deployment, management of performance, and reporting metrics.

A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service.

Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above). A Level 6 qualification is desirable.

Paediatric First Aid (12 hours), First Aid at Work, and a commitment to remain compliant.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nursery Manager who is passionate about innovative early years practice and wants to play a key role in the continued growth and development of a successful organisation.
The RoleAs Nursery Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership, management and strategic development of a large nursery setting. You will lead a dedicated team of practitioners, ensure outstanding standards of care and education, oversee compliance and safeguarding, and drive continuous improvement across the nursery.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the nursery.
• Lead a large team in delivering outstanding childcare and education.
• Ensure full compliance with the EYFS Framework, safeguarding requirements and all regulatory standards.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (training provided if required).
• Lead the nursery through Ofsted inspections and quality assurance processes.
• Drive occupancy growth and support the site's expansion from 100 to 150 children.
• Develop and implement nursery improvement and development plans.

• A Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.

How you’ll spend your time here
Day to day as a Deputy Manager you will be an intrinsic part of the Nurseries success ensuring the setting has the right team, culture, policies and resources to deliver the highest possible standards of childcare and early years education.
You’ll offer solutions where you identify areas for improvements whether that relates to learning and teaching techniques or, creating more stimulating experiences and environments for the children and their educators. You will embrace inclusivity to ensure the individual needs of all those within your care are achieved.

• A full and relevant Early Years Education qualification Level 3 or above or equivalent
• Experience in a managerial role including nursery administration or similar
• A strong knowledge and understanding EYFS framework
