EYFS Learning Support Assistant

Whyteleafe Primary School are seeking a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Learning Assistant Level 2 to join our early years team and help create a nurturing, engaging environment where every child can thrive. Your Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development through play, ensuring their safety and well-being, and making a meaningful difference in their early educational journey. Working closely with our EYFS Leader and team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality learning experiences, supporting individual children as a key worker, and contributing to a positive and inclusive school community.

What we're looking for:

• A good general education, including GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
• Completion of a Level 2 childcare qualification
• Up to date safeguarding training
• Good understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

The Details Start Date: ASAP Salary: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 - £24,751 Actual Salary: £7,024.91

Hours: 12 Hours a week

Contract Type: Fixed term until 11th Apr 2027 - funding related. Closing Date: 22nd Nov 2026
