The Role

As Teacher of English and Lead Practitioner of Literacy , you will:

• Teach high-quality English lessons and secure excellent outcomes for students.
• Lead the strategic development of literacy across the school.
• Champion reading, vocabulary development and disciplinary literacy across all curriculum areas.
• Support colleagues in embedding evidence-informed literacy practices within teaching and learning.
• Deliver coaching, modelling and professional development to staff.
• Promote a culture where literacy is everyone's responsibility.
• Develop and evaluate literacy interventions to improve student outcomes.
• Work closely with leaders, departments and colleagues across United Learning to deliver sustained improvement. What We Are Looking For
